Oh boy, this is about to get real interesting!
First, school shootings-murders should never serve as financial profit making opportunities. And acts that produce the suffering of innocents, can’t be reduced to dollars and cents. This “ratings chasing” move was a bad idea from the beginning; and a couple of metaphorical phrases come to mind: “Playing with matches (fire)”; “If you lie down with dogs, you will get up with fleas”! But I guess this is what you get when you hire the Fox (news) to watch the (NBC) hen-house; are you then surprised that a few chickens come up missing?… The Sandy Hook Elementary School-Newtown community, and the families of the victims should not have their suffering multiplied and extended by a pathological bigot and liar. Students in that community should not be forced to again think about and fear that just going to school to learn is a dangerous act. And how do you provide a legitimizing platform for an individual who will delegitimize the pain those parents and family members still feel for the loss of a child, colleagues, friends or love ones? If you choose to make a deal with the devil, just make sure you have on your asbestos underwear!
