“Scott Rudin, Producer Exiled for Bad Behavior, Plans Return to Broadway” –NYT March 28, 2025
This is an excellent (and literally) “second-act” story. I think that the idea of reinvention or renovation of a creative/productive life is one of the most important things one can do in life. For me, it’s the idea of continuing to create opportunities to be of service to human evolution and planetary peace that is so invitingly meaningful. This connection between personal self-reparation and self-reorientation of service to humanity is profound.
By constantly seeding, reseeding (not receding from our calling), nurturing, and evolving ourselves, we are better equipped to contribute positively to the world around us. I’m long past the age of believing in “perfect people,” we are all, in some grand effort or daily small steps sense, warily working our way through this world, hopefully doing as many good works as possible, being as courageous as possible, hurting few of our fellow human beings as possible, despite carrying the painful, heavy weight of our personal imperfections up the final hill of Devine judgment.
